Organizing events and they are no help
- - Created a brand page with two events; the organization page disappeared.
- - Calls to 877-620-**** hang up after a few minutes on hold.
I set up a page for my brand and then created 2 events through that "organization" page. When i return to the site I could no longer see the organization page.
Attempts to call and get help lead nowhere.
Spoke to secretary of the sales team who literally said "no support for creators".
Eventbrite showed up on my social media feed so I commented with my experience. When i sat at my computer a little later my events were already on my screen. I figure their social media team messaged someone who fixed the issue.
Thought the problem was solved but when I had to log back in my organization page and the events dissapeared.
I dont know who is buying tickets.
I have called 877-620-**** about 15 times and it hangfs up after a few minutes on hold. Every time.

What a terrible website. I had to rename some events to outline Eventbrite's bugs because they wouldn't let me delete events after I refunded everyone.
Their organizer interface and website is slow to use. It even shows that when you use website testing tools. Anyway, I update my events then around 1AM eastern time I make a new event with a date as TBA then I get an email from someone asking about ordering tickets then one hour later, Eventbrite decides to delete all me events and locks my account but fails to explain why.
They also don't address people properly in their letter and don't say who the letter is from. Very unprofessional company, and I really hope the people that buy tickets from the platform that are eligible for refunds get the full refunds that they deserve.

Eventbrite is advertising a fraudulent event, doesn't seem the least bit interested. What a sham operation, obviously taking people's money for nothing. Buyer beware!

Frustration

I requested a refund from VQT and they refused stating:"At VQT we have a strict no-refund policy for event tickets unless the event itself is canceled..."There were 7 participants up until 1or 2 hours prior to the event. A final number of 10 people were on the Google form as participants, and the minimum to run the event is 20 as stated in their own rules (see attached screenshot). So the event should have been canceled due to low attendance.Eventbrite also refused to refund, stating that the organization "is not covered by Eventbrite's cancelation policy".
Prior to the VQT event I carefully read the terms and the organizers stated that the event would be cancelled if attendance was low and patrons would be refunded.
The number was 20 and the list made it to 11 - excluding me who they left as a participant name on the google form where you make your speed dating selections, into the next day. Unusual given that I informed them that I wouldn't be attending before the event started.
I just began using Eventbrite somewhat often and even recommended it to people.
However, if organizations are allowed to lie, be deceptive, and treat people disrespectfully with your company's consent, then there is a problem.
Please reconsider your position so that perhaps I can reconsider leaving Eventbrite as a patron. Ultimately, you're a great way to search for and book events.

Slow and expensive website that got worse
- - The interface is slow.
- - Fees for organizers have risen.

- - They delete events without cause, including Let women speak.
As a former active eventbrite organizer, I found their interface to be extremely slow to use and they now want more money from organizers while offering no extra service. Also, their customer support level is not great since their best answer is to refer you to an article for you to read and decipher. Also, they delete random events without just cause including the "Let women speak" event.

- - They told us to contact PayPal and there was no customer service.
They didn't use a verified seller and we were scammed for tickets. They emailed us that we didn't have tickets and told us to contact PayPal than nothing.
There is no way to speak to a person and we tried everything. No customer service at all literally.

I have made numerous attempts to contact you. Ive gotten no response.
I contacted the organization and got no reply. Its now the weekend and Ive still heard nothing and am beyond frustrated with the service here.
I hope this isnt how you treat all your customers because this is shotty at best. Do better.
